Installation of new nesting boxes January 24, 2025

The Ferme de l'Airbois holiday cottages and B&Bs are part of the Natagora Nature Network. To this end, we have signed a charter that encourages us to make efforts to protect biodiversity. No greenwashing here, just concrete action!

We are not part of the GreenKey gite network, but that doesn't stop us from taking steps to offer our guests the most environmentally-friendly and responsible stay possible. Don't hesitate to read our article ‘actions in favour of biodiversity’ to find out more!

This winter, we placed 2 additional nest boxes for swallows and swifts. If the operation is a success, we'll put more back next year! In total, we now have more than 10 installed all over the garden!

Every year, we also have to make sure that all the existing nest boxes are emptied. Few species do this themselves, so the boxes remain empty or occupied only by the same species, which hinders variety.
